Our package comes complete with your choice of practice chanter, as well as reed plus Kilberry's own learning book and cd. This is very simply laid out, making it extremely easy to follow and any one of these kits is the ideal way to get started.
Our long length chanter kits are available in a choice of plastic or African blackwood, which delivers a professional sound quality. Extra reeds can be purchased separately.
We recommend the long plastic kits as a good option for most beginners. The long plastic has the same finger hole spacing as the one on the pipes which makes the ultimate transition from practice chanter to pipes easier. Buying pipes will be at least a few months down the line, but you will continue to play your chanter all your piping days for practicing familiar tunes and learning new ones.
The black vinyl chanter kit carry bag (pictured right) is ideal for those purchasing a practice chanter kit. It is suitable for the normal lengths or the long length practice chanters. It carries the Kilberry learning book and cd as well as the practice chanter reed.
