Pipe bags
The standard bag on a set of highland or smallpipes is made from a synthetic material. This comes with a swan neck and is a standard size, unless otherwise requested. Hide bags are also available; however these tend to be more expensive and require maintenance (seasoning) from time to time.
We also stock the Canmore synthetic bag or there alternatively is a hide and synthetic bag available, with water traps which although more expensive is highly recommended. This is called the Bannatyne hide bag and is considered the top of the range.
Bannatyne hide zip bag
This is a hide bag, with a synthetic lining, with access to the inside of the bag via an airtight zip.

This is the equivalent of the Canmore bag, but made by Bannatyne every bit as good but a little less expensive.

Bannatyne Plain synthetic bag
This is the most basic of all the bannatyne bags, and has to be tied in the same way as a hide or sheepskin. It is a very tight and effective bag and is suitable for all highland pipes.
