Blowsticks, mouthpieces and more
Bagpipes have traditionally been made with a wooden blowstick. Nowadays, pipers are looking for the best and easiest way to get the maximum air into the bag and this usually means some sort of 'wide bore' blowstick.
We stock quite a few different makes, as well as our own very successful Kilberry one. There is also a 'swivel' blowstick which can be angled to suit the undividual player.
Universal' Blowstick and Mouthpiece
Similar to the Airstream, made from plastic with the built in rubber valve, the advantage of this system is that it has a plastic swivel or ball joint which allows the player to set the angle of the blowstick.

As the name suggests, these are bored out to allow the maximum air flow all the way through to the stock.

Watertrap tube
A simple plastic tube which sits in the bag, allowing the air to pass through but catching the moisture.
